Wal-Mart, Bentonville, Ark., has purchased the 160,000-sf Towne
Centre shopping center on 26 acres and an additional 6 acres at
the northwest corner of U.S. Hwy. 19 and Ridge Rd., Port Richey,
for $6 million from the Cliffton Group and the City of Port Richey.

The University of Tampa is building the $22-million, 9-story,
250,000-sf Ronald L. Vaughn Hall student center and 440-student
residence complex on campus at 401 W. Kennedy Blvd., Tampa. The
project results from a $28-million donation by Tampa's Sykes Enterprises
