Hillsborough

FACS Records Storage Inc. has leased a 92,200-sf office/warehouse at the Fairfield Distribution Center, 4758 Oak Fair Blvd., Tampa. Transaction handled by Colliers Arnold Commercial Real Estate Services, Edward Miller and Dolores Seymour (813/221-2290).

Manatee County

Buffalo-Anderson Associates plans to build a 176,933-sf Hampton Inn hotel on 11.9 acres in North River Interchange Park at 20th Court E. and 60th Ave. E., Bradenton. Eng: Zoller Najjar & Shroyer (941/748-8080).

Pasco County

Mark Willet, Lutz, plans to develop 2 office buildings at 5,000 sf on 1.03 acres at the southwest corner of Collier Parkway and SR 54. Eng: Burcaw & Associates (813/882- 4815).

Pinellas

The Poynter Institute for Media Studies is adding 26,000 sf to its 31,000-sf facility on 3.6 acres at 801 3rd St. S., St. Petersburg. The project is valued at $6.3 million. Arch: Jung/Brannen Associates. OwnerÕs rep: Koningisor Luiciano & Associates (508/877- 2344).

Polk

Chep USA in Orlando, a subsidiary of Australia-based Brambles Inc., has leased a 294,000-sf facility in Florida Central Park at U.S. Hwy. 27 and Dean Still Rd., Davenport. The firm will employ 20 people to remanufacture and distribute food-grade pallets, and projects a total workforce of 100 by the end of the year. Sarasota

St. Andrews Inc., Venice, is building the 20,000-sf, $3.5-million Center for Sight at 2601 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota. Eng: AM Engineering. Arch: Barger + Dean Architects. Contractor: Tandem Construction, Peter Hayes (941/954-1599).
