Huntington National Bank (813/964-0502), based in Columbus, Ohio, has leased four floors at the former 100 Twiggs building in downtown Tampa. It will be renamed Huntington Plaza after a $6-million renovation. Chesapeake Atlantic Holdings purchased the building earlier this year. It had been empty for 6 years.
Manatee County
Frito-Lay is building a 7,000-sf manufacturing facility at 29th St. E. and 31st Ave., Bradenton. Contractor: Halfacre Construction Co. (941/351-6521).
Pasco County
Vincent & Linda Cona, Hudson, are building a 13,200-sf retail office complex on 1 acre at County Line Rd. east of Furman Rd. south of Spring Hill. Eng: Johnson-Frey-Turzak Group (727/848-2921).
Pinellas
Florida Prudential Realty will disappear in January, only to show up the next day as Arvida Realty Services.
Harrod Properties (727/541-7700) is building the 46,000-sf, 3-story One Fairway Place office building fronting on the 7th hole of the Bardmoor Golf Course south of Bryan Dairy Rd., east of Starkey Rd., Largo. Eng: John C. Landon Associates.
Polk
Steinbauer Associates Inc./Corfac International of Miami named James J. Steinbauer responsible for expanding the commercial real estate brokerage into Lakeland and central Florida.
