Hillsborough County
New York-based Bromley Development plans to build a 24-story, 300-room Westin Tampa Bay luxury hotel at Tampa Bay One at the northwest quadrant of I-275 and Dale Mabry Hwy., Tampa. The facility will include 20,000 sf of meeting space, a 10,000-sf health and fitness club and the top eight stories will be designed as 40 luxury condominiums. Arch: TVS Architects. Jupiter-based First Florida Commercial Properties has purchased the 178,000-sf Times building and adjacent 5-acre parking lot at 100 N. Ashley Dr., Tampa, for $16 million from SKW II Real Estate Ltd. Transaction handled by CB Richard Ellis, Kyle Burd (813/229-3111).

Manatee County
Miami-based Lefmark/BVT Bradenton Associates plans to redevelop the 110,219-sf K-mart and build a 135,197-sf Lowes Shopping Center on 23.22 acres at the northwest corner of U.S. Hwy. 41 and Cortez Rd., Bradenton. Eng: WilsonMiller Inc., Millard Yoder (941/607-6900).

Sarasota County
